10 Safest Convertibles
What car should i get?
Im a High Schooler who is going to be needing a car soon. I am VERY knowledgeable on cars & just looking for extra ideas, so please dont type 3 pages explaining how a turbocharger works to me 
Here are the parameters:
1. $10,000 budget limit.
2. No nerdy cars (sorry, no Chevy Caprice, Olds Ninety-Eight, or Ford Granada :p )
3. Cannot be a CUV, SUV, crossover, pickup, etc. Must be a sedan, coupe, wagon, or convertible.
4. An upscale bran would be nice, but not a necessity
5.Must be somewhat safe (Keyword:somewhat :p)
6. Must be used
Thats pretty much it, i was thinking on the lines of Infiniti G20, Volvo S60R, BMW 3 Series, any used Benz… Thanx!
The S60 model has its fair share of problems and they generally aren’t cheap fixes. Whether or not its a good buy really depends on if the previous owner(s) properly maintained the car. However, its relatively easy to work on for most DIY mechanics, so you’ll probably save some money if you have a good set of automotive tools around.
The G20 handles & rides nice, but is heavy and offers mediocre performance overall. I’d much rather have a BMW 3 Series over the G20.
Also consider an Audi A4 with the 1.8 turbo. Kinda in the same boat as the S60R as far as reliability is concerned. They can be nice cars to own if you don’t have to rely on the dealership or independent shop for repair work. Also, bottom end is already built for tons of power and its already got a turbo, so you can make it go much, much faster while having the luxury at the same time.
