Need help in considering buying a range rover
I’m considering buying a 2000 Range Rover. I love everything about it except I am concerned about gas mileage. Right now I drive a 2004 sebring convertible and get decent gas mileage, but I’m expecting my first baby and want to get something bigger/safer/more baby appropriate – but i cannot do a minivan!
I’m looking to hear from anyone who owns or has owned a Range Rover around a 2000 and if you can tell me your experience with gas mileage. Thank you so much!

Like you said, the Range Rover is a safe car. If gas mileage was your biggest concern you should buy a small foreign sedan…
But, you want something safe for you and your new addition to the family! Not a car that will crush in a small accident.
With that being said. On avg., you should expect to get around ~19 mpg. Not too much less than what you get now.
