2005 Safest Cars
Does anyone know the safety rating of a 2005 Scion xB Wagon?
My 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan just lost its tranny, we can’t afford to put $ in to fix it if it its going to crap out in the future. I saw a posting for a Scion xB Wagon 2005 for $4100. I have a 2 year old son, I want to make sure this car is safe if we get into an accident. Does anyone know anything about the safety ratings, I need assistance ASAP. Thanks
well there are other vehicles similar to the Scion xB first generation, the 2005 was good, but was not the best. it recievd a Poor rating in side impact and it didnt have side impact air bags which woud have helped the side impact rating. and for IIHS rating it recieved a Good rating.. if i may say, if you want an xB the 2008+ would be a better choice…. but who knows? the tC was given bad safety ratings in its introduction, and there have been people who have survived the weirdst accidents, one guy surrvived is tC crash when it rolled down a small cliff, and crawled out the sunroof. so maybe the 1st generation Scion xB is good. may have to do more research if it really does concern the safet of your child.. good luck though and be safe.
