2008 Safest Suv Cars

2008 Safest Suv Cars
Mini SUV or Sedan? Which car has bigger trunk space and safer for a baby ride in the car?
I am looking for 2008 new car. I am a mom with one baby. Which car is better for us regarding the good trunk sapce and safty?
Now I am consider 2008 Accord LX-P AT, CR-V LX 2WD, Mazda CX-7 Sport, Mitsubishi Outlander and Nissan Rogue.
I also consider Lexus ES350.
I kind of worry about the blind spot for the mini suv. Will a rear view camera solve the problem? Does anny one know any mini suv come with rear view camera?
Thanks
You’ll need to check with the NHTSA in America to study crash test safety but one should assume that a 4 door sedan is as safe if not safer than most SUV on the road today.
The ride height of an SUV gives a false impression of added safety but it’s just not true. The good news is that ALL vehicles have improved safety over previous years models.
Obviously any SUV will have more cargo space than a sedan.
The New Trailblazer Safety Features
Chevrolet is a division of the American automaker, General Motors. In 2008, Chevy discontinued the Trailblazer, and the 2009 model is the last to be sold in the United States. It has now morphed into the Chevy Traverse, which is what Chevy calls, a Crossover SUV. The safety features in the 2010 Chevy Trailblazer (Traverse) have greatly improved over previous models.
The 2010 Chevy Trailblazer (Traverse), has earned a 5-star rating in crash tests, which is the highest given out. This was for both frontal, and side-impact collisions. The 2010 model features six standard air bags, including head-curtain, side-impact air bags for all three rows, and rollover sensors. This ensures every passenger is covered in case of a collision.
The 2010 Chevy Trailblazer (Traverse) also comes equipped with a new feature called, Stabilitrak. Stabilitrak is an electronic stability control system that helps you in all different kinds of road conditions. This system also features Traction Control, and all-wheel drive (AWD) is available to help you stay in control of the road. These safety features all work together to make the safest possible driving experience.
If you are unfortunately involved in an accident, the safety features in the 2010 Chevy Trailblazer (Traverse) don’t stop working. All models come with OnStar Automatic Crash Response, free for your first year. You car is filled with sensors, so in case of an accident, your system will contact an Advisor. Even if you can’t communicate, the OnStar system will link the operator to your vehicle so they can send emergency help to your exact location by using built in GPS.
