Dumb question about my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Center Console?
My automatic has a flip up center console that turns into a center seat. I flipped it up and now it’s freaking locked there! And now the lid to the storage on the center console is locked while it’s locked in the upward position. I got stuff in there I need for work PRONTO!!!! HELP!!!!
The owners manual says nothing about this and the dealerships are closed for the day. I”ve tried everything I can think of. I’ve tried lifting up and pulling. I’ve tried with the key in and out. I”ve tried it in and out of park. I’ve tried seat belts in and out. It just moves forward a few inches and SLAM… it’s like somthing has locked in the way to make the seat safe to use. I dont’ think it’s broke, I just think it’s a feature and I can’t figure out and can’t find any info on in the owners manual. I have a speach I am ready to ace tomorrow but I can’t get to my info. I could lose my shot at a promotion if I blow this. HELP!!!
There is a release switch or lever somewhere either under the front or under the back. Try reaching down on the side where it is hinged. There has got to be a release there.
