AMSEC PB2-5BE gun safe push button code was stock and will not open?
my code was 12345 factory set now it will not open but just beeps.
Wrong category. However most gun safes make it impossible to erase the factory code. It’s possible you made too many errors and the system locked thinking it was being tampered with. Since it’s a keypad safe you should have an emergency key you can use to manually unlock it if the battery dies. Make sure the dial on the right is set in the correct position before you start putting in numbers.
From their website: Tamper-proof penalty lockout protects against manipulation attempts. Did someone play with it to make the mistakes so the system thought it was being tampered with? Did you put in an override code yet? If so use that.
