i live in the appleton wi area and i was wonderin if anyone knows of a good place to get my belly button pierced. i want a good clean, safe one. thanks
A good place to start would be to see if the piercer in a member of the APP. Also ask to see their Auto clave and see if it looks like it’s being used. Ask to see their aftercare procedures sheet to make sure they have suggestions on how you should take care of your new piercing. Finally interview the piercer about his experience and who trained him or her. If they get annoyed that your asking them these questions move on!
Also make sure your jewelry is surgical grade stainless steel and internally threaded.
