Major Computer Problem? Water Damage?
Hi
I was using my desktop computer and something happend. I turned it off and back on. When it turned on it showed the graphic card screen (GeForce) but there were blue dots lined up in a sort of grid over it. It showed the Microsoft Corporation loading screen with the little bar on the bottom and then the screen went black. The blue screen of death followed. I was able to boot in safe mode though. Could this be a virus? Is there something wrong with my video card? What is wrong???

You were on the right track. Use F8 or F10 (depending on your BIOS) to get to the Safe Mode selection. When you get into the OS, check Device Manager for any exclamation marks, indicating a problem with a piece of hardware.
If there are no hardware problems indicated, then do a system restore back to a date you know your system was working properly, then start doing some thorough virus scans just to be safe.
