How do you make a blank firing weapons and blank firing ammo?
I am making a war movie and want to know a cheap way to make blank firing m1919a4 browning and some other guns but that one is the most important. I mean what tools do I need and stuff like that REMINDER: I am not looking to make this gun have a perfect barrel that is comepletely straight if it is a neccesity please tell me bc i want this to be safe to play with you know like a game of war kinda you know like in your backyard and for a movie. I am also on a very tight budget and im not an adult so the blank fires can be kinda like cap guns but look like real bullets and sound REAL loud. thank you for you time.
I dont mean blanks for a real gun i mean like cap gun blanks but look like real bullets not full fledged blanks with gun powder i mean so other thing that would make sound like a real gun firing off. PLEASE IF YOU ARE ANSWERING READ THE DESRIPTION FIRST i asked for a way to make safe blank bullets that could be used to play with.
Sorry but to get the sound you have to use real powder. I have made them for a college student’s short film. This was in Texas and they used a real revolver and lever action rifle. (Everybody involved during the filming verified that it was blanks being loaded into the guns and there was no real ammunition on site) There are some replica blank firing guns on the market that uses special blanks made specifically for them and they will not chamber real ammunition.
