Can you help me with my goldfish?
I have 2 goldfish in a 30 gallon tank and both are earing well and are acting well, i feed them pro gold the best food you can get but i noticed that the fishes poop is brown and then the rest of it is whitish or light color and im scared it might be parasite problems would it be safe for me to use parasite meds on fish that might not be infected just to be safe?
If you see a fair bit of brown, I really wouldn’t worry, especially if they’re acting normally (eating, swimming, maintaining coloration) and there’s no noticeable swelling or sinking of the abdomen. Also, do NOT use a low dosage of any medication– this is how medication resistant pathogens develop.
