What’s the best way to protect weapons and your home from intruders?
I have a few rifles I want to put away in a gun safe, the only problem is that I want to have my weapons secure, but at the same time I want to have easy access to get to them in case I need to use one. I was looking at different gun safes at http://www.homelandsafes.com
www.cannon.com
and other options such as gun locks or trigger locks, what would you recommend?
The gun safe is the best idea, for keeping them secure. Should you ever need a gun in an instant, a rifle is not the appropriate weapon anyhow… my advice would be to make your house a safer structure, and keep your hunting weapons stored away. Get a yard dog, or any other idea short of shooting someone. Personally, I use a “safe-room”. Not only does it secure the weapons, but it keeps storms out, intruders out and everything in it safe. You can look right at it’s entrance, and not know you are.
