Lockable lunchbox? (key or combination lock)?
We have a horrible food thief at my work who not only steals lunches but also does spiteful things to peoples food. One time they put a dead cockroach in someones sandwich another time they dumped loads of chilli powder in another lunch. They have probably done gross things we are unaware of too. It’s so bad I only buy my lunch now rather than bring it, but it’s getting too expensive.
I’m hoping someone can tell me where in Australia or online I can order a locking lunchbox that locks either by combination or a key lock?
Management won’t do anything to stop this horrible person, other than writing pointless memos, and I’d feel a lot safer knowing that they can’t get into my lunch. Yes I know they could steal the lunch box or break it open or something, but I feel this is the best solution.
Thanks!
Go and buy a toolbox the sort that people put their hammers and the like – it’ll be a bit big but at least you’ll feel safe. If it’s not in a fridge, can you keep it in your locked desk/locker at work? Buy a knapsack and wear it while you work (I’m throwing out ideas – sorry). I have a knapsack that has a thermal lining for keeping things cold. I wear it when I go for long walks and need to take a lunch.
Putting things in people’s lunches, is that not a criminal offense? Call the cops and ask.
