My ring was stolen by (a very big oil company that specializes in oil changes) by their techs, what do I do?
I had my oil changed @ this big car company place. Come to find out, my ring is missing now out of my car, where it had been stored. No one has been in my car alone, and it’s always locked.
I got my oil changed a couple days ago and they also clean my car.
What are my steps?
I’m ready to file a police report, contact the BBB and the Attorney General.
I have already called the mananger, who said he would need time for his employees to come in and ask around for the ring, but t’s not in the safe.
Where do I go from here? What if I call back and he says it’s not there and nobody knows anything? What if I call back and he spits that “we are not responsible” bullsh*T? What do I do?
I’m have my ammo ready and I’m ready to shoot letters and emails to their corporate office, their location, the BBB and the AG, as well as filing a police report. On top of that, I will spread the word not to go to Jiffy Lube to every consumer site that I can.
Please give advice!!
I think you are right to contact the police. Fill out a report and let them know the oil change place was the last place you had the ring. Let the police ask the questions, because they are more likely to get answers than you are. If nothing happens, surely report to the BBB. I’m not sure why you would contact the Attorney General, but feel free to do what you need to do.
