Are flat screen televisions safe to ship in mail?
Has anyone ever purchased a flat screen television online and had it shipped in the mail? I found many flat screen TVS online for great prices, cheaper than stores close to my home, and I was thinking of purchasing one but not sure how safe it is to have it shipped to me. I know heavy packages aren’t handled well and i’d think the TV has a pretty high chance of being rattled and dropped. I’m just afraid that i’ll get the TV and it’ll work for a few months and stop working correctly like most electronic devices that have been shaken and dropped and I’ll be stuck with something busted after the 30 day warranty.
I bought an LCD HDTV on ebay and it was shipped to me by UPS and arrived just fine. That was almost 2 years ago and its still working just fine. Also if you think about it, ALL TV’s have to be shipped to get to stores, ect.
