Accessories and Options for Liberty Safes
A safe built by a reputable manufacturer like Liberty Safes, Browning, or Sentry will provide years and years of effective protection for your valuables, not only from unwanted access to your things from a thief, but also from the catastrophic effects of fire and other natural perils. Modern safes are attractive, affordable, and surprisingly versatile.
My personal favorites are the safes made by Liberty. Since a safe should be more than just a secure box to stash stuff away into, it makes sense to customize it with the accessories you want. Let’s take a look at some of the creative and useful accessories available by Liberty safes.
Do you have important back up files from your computer you want to be sure don’t get damaged? Do you have family DVDs or other media that you wish to give extra protection to? Then you should consider the Media Cooler as an essential accessory. This little box goes inside your safe to provide that extra layer of protection from damage by fire. It measures about a foot wide by just under a foot high and deep. It is perfect for storing those small electronic media that are so important and that are more easily damaged by heat than paper.
Another accessory by Liberty safes that is an available option is the Storage Cabinet. This is a four drawer storage system with two small top drawers and two large lower drawers. One of the lower drawers has built in brackets for hanging files. The smaller top drawers are perfect for storing smaller items such as coins and jewelry.

Liberty Safes are reasonably sealed, but can still be just as susceptible to unwanted internal moisture as any other safe that exists in our atmosphere. So, one solution you may want to use is a Desiccant. A desiccant is a hygroscopic substance that absorbs excess moisture in the safe. It is reusable and helps sustain dryness. And everyone knows what an enemy to paper, metal, and other materials moisture can be. Liberty also offers electric dehumidifiers that serve the same purpose.

But my personal favorite accessory is the Door-Mounted Pistol Pocket. This attaches to the inside of the door and allows safe and protected holstering for 8 to 16 handguns.
