5 simple ways to plan your Mafia Wars empire
One of the great things about Mafia Wars is that it seems so simple to jump straight into it and start playing from the moment that you’ve registered. In a lot of ways, that’s true but it’s also a very dangerous thing to do.
Mafia Wars is a game that requires a very high level of meticulous planning if you really want to reach the higher levels of the game, and that planning should start from the moment that you open your account.
With that in mind, here are five things that you should bear in mind when you’re just starting to build your Mafia empire.
Family Size
There are lots of things that you need to keep your eye on while playing Mafia Wars, but very few are as important as your family size. This needs to be built up as soon as possible, so right from the outset you want to start recruiting heavily.
Get on Facebook, Twitter and email to tap your friends up and persuade them to join your Mafia. You’ll find yourself bullied a lot less if you’ve got a family behind you to back you up.
Godfather Points
There’s no getting around the fact that if you want to compete at the highest level of the game, you’re going to need Godfather points. Don’t go about getting them in a crazy manner though. Plan ahead.
There are a number of players out there who will willingly give away an awful lot of personal information to be awarded a few points. There’s really no need to go down that route though.
Instead, set up a dummy email address that you don’t mind getting spammed and use it to participate in the various offers that will come your way. It’s a much safer and more reliable way of earning you the Godfather points that you need.
Jobs
Make sure you finish your jobs as quickly and efficiently as you can. You want to be coming home with as many rewards as possible. Once again, plan ahead though. Make sure you take on a variety of different jobs and increase the size of them gradually as your player starts to level up.
That way, once you’ve progressed through a few levels of the game, you’ll find a much wider variety of jobs open up to you which means that you’ll be able to get your hands on a much larger number of rewards.
Invest in properties
As soon as you can, start buying properties. All properties require cash to keep them looking good and safe, so do your research and only invest in those properties which are easy to maintain. Don’t start getting tempted to invest in properties that are not going to give you a solid return on your money.
Avoid fights where possible
There’s no doubting that the violent side of the game is a lot of fun and one of the main reasons that people get involved with Mafia Wars in the first place.
However, getting involved in fights with your opponents early on in the game is pointless. You’ll end up wasting resources and energy – both of which would be better served elsewhere.
Instead, spend your time focusing on investing in new property and recruiting new members to your family. It’s a strategy that will pay off much more handsomly in the long term.
