Why doesn’t the USA government pass laws to protect it’s citizens?
Here in the UK we have Stop and Search” laws; Police the right to conduct searches without warrant or reason of suspicion.
Police don’t need warrants to enter a home.
Guns are banned; only the government, the police and the military own guns.
We also have detention without trial, CCTV on every street corner (I feel so safe going home) and protesting is banned. We also have plans to order everyone to own biometric identity cards.
The UK is so safe; I feel safe walking on the streets at 4:30am.
Because in the US, we value individual freedom more than safety. Perhaps it’s a hangover effect from our masters during the time when we were another nation’s colonies, but Americans have little trust for centralized government or the officers that carry out its laws.
