Liberty Gun Safe

Gun Safes Liberty
Does the U.S. need stricter gun control?

There is nothing wrong with some restrictions, such as a waiting period, one gun a month, etc. Gun-control critics whine about their 2nd amendment rights, but would like us to forget the REST of the Constitution, the parts that guarantee “a more perfect Union, domestic tranquility, general welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves”.

In the U.S., many people do not feel safe leaving their houses; there is a LACK of tranquility and general welfare in the U.S. !

Mass gun killings like Columbine, Colorado, Virginia Tech, Binghamton, NY, Pennsylvania Amish School, etc., etc., etc., are extrememly rare in other civilized countries that have strict gun control regulations.

If you agree that stricter gun-control measures are needed to make the U.S. a BETTER country, ignore the NRA and neoconservatives, who only care about themselves, and write your elected officials, and tell them what you think.

Isn’t amazing though that the majority of mass shootings in the US happen at a school or other GUN FREE ZONE and not at Gun shows, gun shops or homes with NRA member Stickers plastered on windows and doors…

I feel very safe in my home. My friends Smith and Wesson are always with me.

I also find it funny how you say that we forget about the other parts of the Constitution yet it is the gun grabbers always forgetting that the 2nd keeps the others protected.

Gun Control Defined…….
A theory espoused by some people; who claim to believe, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

Plain and simple… Fixing the external does not fix internal problems. Chicago has a handgun ban yet 99% of violence there involves them…So much for the ban.

It has now been one year (12 months) since gun
owners in Australia were forced by a new law to surrender 640,381 personal
firearms to be destroyed by our own government, a program costing
Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars.

The first year results are now available:
-Australia-wide, homicides are up 6.2 percent;
-Australia-wide, assaults are up 9.6 percent;
-Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent);
In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up
300 percent as compared with the last one year period when private
ownership of a firearm was legal.
(NB: the law-abiding citizens did turn in their personal firearms,
the criminal element did not and thus criminals in Australia still
possess their guns.)
-While data for the 25 years preceding the confiscation of privately
owned guns showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms,
this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months as criminals
now are assured their victims will be unarmed.
-There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults
of the elderly, while the resident is at home. Australian politicians are
at a loss to explain how public safety has
decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in
successfully ridding Australian society of guns.’
-This story of well intentioned government intervention in the
rights of lawful individuals to own and possess firearms won’t be seen in the
mainstream US media or on the American evening news. Senator Obama
who advocates a similar confiscation in the US will not be reporting
any of this to you. But, the Australian experience speaks for itself. Guns in the
hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws
affect only the law-abiding citizens.
Americans may want to take note before it’s too late!
