Where in Northern America would you flee if all the major cities got NUKED?
Assume gas shortages, rampaging mobs and irradiated winds: how would you get to your safe-haven? Horse & buggie, bike, fly, walk? Where’s more safe, Alaska/Canada or a deep cave in the Rockies? Protection: guns, attack dogs or ?
Right, if I was a ‘survivalist’ – and say SF and NY got hit, wouldn’t I want to know where the irradiated winds would carry and avoid them? Where would that be?
There is nothing on the face of the Earth that could kill every single human being. No natural catastrophe, plague, nuclear weapons or disease COMBINED could kill everyone. It could however result in the deaths of millions, if not billions of people worldwide. Your survival depends on luck, timing, strategy and your level of preparedness. Do your research to learn how to prepare survival kits for any disaster. know exactly WHICH disasters are MOST LIKELY to strike your region, then prepare for it. (ie. tornado, flood, typhoon, earthquake, etc) The likelhood of global thermal-nuclear war has been signfiicantly “reduced” since the fall of the Soviet Union. The chances of a “dirty bomb” detonation by terrorists is more likely. Every survival kits should include first aid kits, food, water, vitamins, warm clothing, shelter tents, etc, etc….you get the idea. There are hundreds of good books and websites to help you prepare. Generally speaking, the FARTHER you are from a large city, the safer you MIGHT be from nuclear war, radiation and fallout. Your best bet is to build an undergorund concrete “bunker” if you can afford it.
