Buying air guns online?
I was wanting to buy an air rifle from D & L Air since i live in Canada, but am not sure about the “All sales are final policy”. What if the gun is faulty or damaged in shipping? I don’t want to be down $100 bucks and not be able to get another one! What I’m asking is if shipping with this sort of merchandise is usually safe and if manufacturers are reliable in quality.

If the gun is defective, you would contact the manufacturer and have them repair it free of charge since it would be under the manufacturer’s warranty, so you wouldn’t be out $100. (Though you could have to pay shipping.) Generally speaking most airguns are reasonably good quality and you probably won’t have issues unless you abuse the gun or unless you’re extremely unlucky.
As for shipping… Its usually safe. Most of the time airguns are packed in blister packages and/or cardboard boxes that hold the gun and keep it from bouncing around. That might not be quite as good as shipping it in a foam lined, hard-sided gun case, but it works reasonably well.
