I’m 17 and I’m trying to buy a gun, specifically a Glock 17, how can I do that?
I’m not trying to be a thug or anything, I live at home with just me and my mom and the neighborhood is getting worse, so I would like something to keep us safe in a worse case scenario. Her buying it is out of the question, she is anti-violent. How can I personally buy a handgun, online or elsewhere? Serious answers only please.
You have to be 18 to legally own a handgun in most states. If your mom, who owns the house (or is the person on the lease) does not want the gun in her home then you have to respect that. I’m assuming that you have not taken a gun safety course which creates a bigger problem. If you are not properly trained on how to and most importantly when to use a gun you are putting yourself and and those around you in danger. It would be a bummer if you shot someone by accident or illegally. Hold off on getting the gun until you have taken the proper training and can obtain a weapon LEGALLY, without finding some kind of loop hole.
