does anyone know if its ok to shoot 12g slugs out of a skeet barrel?
me and my grandpa have done this for years out of his remington 1100 and sportsmen 58, nothing bad has hapended yet but im worried a little the guns are getting old. the 58 was made from 1958-1960 something and the 1100 is an early one. just want to know if its safe.
there’s supposed to be something different about ”skeet” barrels.
It won’t hurt a thing. A skeet choke is the next thing to cylinder bore. Go ahead and fire your slugs.
