Opinion?!?!?!?

I just want to know peoples opinions on these topics.

1)Should same-sex marriage be legal?
2)Are Botox Injections really needed?
3)Is stem cell research ethical?
4)Did the Holocaust really happen?
5)Should religion be in the public schools?
6)Under God? Constitutionality of the Pledge of Allegiance
7)Are genetically modified foods safe?
8)Should guns be banned?
9)Should we have the Death Penalty?
10) Is it morally right to use animals for testing?

Here is my opinion
1)Should same-sex marriage be legal?
Yes
2)Are Botox Injections really needed?
no, be happy with what you have
3)Is stem cell research ethical?
yes
4)Did the Holocaust really happen?
Unfourtinitly, Yes
5)Should religion be in the public schools?
No
6)Under God? Constitutionality of the Pledge of Allegiance
No
7)Are genetically modified foods safe?
No
8)Should guns be banned?
In some conditions
9)Should we have the Death Penalty?
In some conditions
10)NO!!!!!!!!!!
What is your opinion?

1. Yes – who am I to decide what is and isn’t right for another person? I have to worry about my husband, me and my daughter. That is where my right to decide things ends.
2. No. But everyone has the right to risk their lives to look younger/more “beautiful”. If they choose to do that, fine by me. I am not really anxious to inject botulism into my body. . .
3. I think it is fine, as long as the cells are from dead or unwanted fetus’s (feti? Who knows?). I think that if it will cure some very painful, debilitating diseases, it should go on. I am sure those against it would change their tune if they or someone they loved was aflicted with one of the diseases that could potentially be eased/cured with the research.
4. Yes. I saw one of the camps, and I have a grandfather that was one of the liberators of one of the camps. He told me some horrific stories. I also am married to a history professor (specialty is WWI and WWII). He has a hell of a lot of documentation and first hand accounts to state it did happen.
5. Not until they can decide how to properly represent all religions fairly and equally. They can’t right now, and if they went by most “popular” in the way of the most participants, Christianity would not be it – Muslim would be. That would bunch up the bloomers of the Christian Right, wouldn’t it?
6. I think if the word “God” is taken as it was written – to represent faith, not a specific religion, then it should be allowed. I mean, Buddha, Zeus, and Allah are all Gods, right? There is nothing that states the word “God” to be a Christian-specific word.
7. Don’t know enough about that to state an opinion. Until I know more, I choose not to consume it.
8. No. I think that certain ones should only be available to collectors, and take additional information/training/waiting time before possessing, but I think it is the right for everyone to have a gun if they so choose. I mean, it is the person pulling the trigger that is doing the killing – not the gun itself. And criminals tend to not like laws (hence the term “criminal”), so banning guns will only keep them out of the hands of the law abiding.
9. On a case by case basis. There are people that commit crimes that are able to be rehabilitated. But there are some that are beyond help. I think that if a person is a habitual criminal, and has no desire to “straighten out and be a productive member of society”, then they have not earned the right to keep their lives if they took someone else’s. Why should their right to life supercede their vicitm’s?
10. No. If you want to test something that humans are going to use, go right to the ones that will use it – test it on humans that volunteer. I think that companies might then take a little more care with their creations. . .

Looking for a Cheap Gun Safe?

So you want a gun safe, but you don’t want to pay a lot of money,  you are basically looking for a cheap gun safe. But what does the word “cheap” mean. It has quite a variety of definitions, some meaning virtually the opposite of other definitions. Lets take a look at the meanings of cheap.

In the dictionary that came with my computer, cheap as an adjective can mean:

  • (an item for sale) low in price; worth more than it cost: they bought some cheap fruit / local buses were reliable and cheap.
  • (if prices or other charges) low: my rent was pretty cheap
  • charging low prices: a cheap restaurant.
  • inexpensive because of inferior quality: cheap, soddy  goods.
  • informal, miserly; stingy: she’s too cheap to send me a postcard.
  • of little worth because achieved in a discreditable way requiring little effort: her moment of cheap triumph.
  • deserving of contempt: a cheap trick

The word originated in the late 15th century from on obsolete phrase ‘good cheap’ meaning ‘a good bargain’, the word was from Old English cap (bargaining, trade) which is based on Latin capo meaning ‘small trader, innkeeper’.

In modern society, cheap can have a positive connotation which means getting something for a low price that is worth more than it costs. It can also have a negative connotation meaning that something is of little worth, or is inexpensive because of inferior quality.

Now, when someone does a google search for a ‘cheap gun safe’, they are not looking for anything of inferior quality. They are looking for a top quality safe for a good price. Is that possible? Can you find a quality gun safe for cheap? Or do you sacrifice quality for price?

I believe that you can get a quality cheap gun safe, and since safes are rated, you can be guaranteed a certain amount of protection. Safes are rated according to how hot of a fire it can withstand and for how long. Most brands of safes are tested by the independent Underwriters Laboratory (UL). One very important thing to realize when you are shopping for a gun safe is that you want a safe that is “UL Listed”. This means that the product has actually passed a UL test. If a product is labeled “Tested to UL Standards” that means that the product has been submitted for testing, but does not mean that it passed the test. Fire Safes are subjected to fire by UL for various lengths of times and at different temperatures. In order for a safe to earn a UL classification, items stored inside must remain completely undamaged. So, if you find a cheap gun safe labeled “Tested to UL Standards” , then it is cheap in a negative way. But if it is cheap and is labeled “UL Listed”, then it is cheap in a positive way.

Of course, you can get a cheap – inexpensive because of inferior quality – form of security for your guns in another way. It is called a lock box, filing cabinet or locker. Those may be quality items for their intended use, but are inferior when it comes to securing your guns. Your firearms should be kept somewhere that is hard to rob, and where your guns are also kept safe from hazards such as fire. So go ahead and search for a cheap gun safe, now you know how to make sure you find a cheap gun safe that can properly secure your fire arms.
