Halls Safes Lock
Honest opinion plz?
walking in the halls,
late for science,
soft footsteps following me,
i turn around,
no one there,
yet still afraid,
footsteps get louder,
a shiver down my spine,
a cold sweat,
my pace quickens.
i go faster,
those footsteps get faster to,
more quickly with every step,
afraid to turn around,
to waste a single second,
just want to get away,
be safe,
feel protected,
but for now i keep running,
lock myself in the bathroom,
notice the mirror,
finally i was running from,
staring right at me.
It is supposed to be
“finally see what i was running from,”
in the 2nd to last line
wow that’s really good I have to say. But I think the last two lines need a little work. they really don’t make any sense. and make sure it’s like…idk, powerful, ya know? like when you get to the last line you’re just like..”wow!” lol
but yeah just work on the last two lines and a good title and it will be great!
oh and in the second paragraph, second line, it’s “those footsteps get faster too” double ‘o’
watch out for capitalization, and maybe change the second ‘faster’ to ‘quicker’
How To Change A Light Bulb The Safe And Easy Way
One minute you are standing in a lit hallway, the next you hear a pop and everything goes dark around you. The hall light has blown. Guess it is time to get out a step stool and replace that burnt out bulb – again.
If there is one job most of us hate, it is replacing a light bulb. Not that it is a difficult job; it really isn’t. But it can be a hassle. If you aren’t sure how to get the job done quickly and efficiently, try following these simple steps:
Step # 1: First identify which light bulb needs to be replaced. When dealing with multi-bulb lights or chandeliers, you may want to check if any other bulbs look old and replace them too while you are at it. Then, head to your storage closet and find the right watt bulb.
Step # 2: Before touching the burnt bulb, be sure that the light switched is turned off and it has had a chance to cool. Older bulbs especially can get pretty hot and burn sensitive fingers. Failing to turn off the power switch to the light can also result in you becoming stunned and blinded when you put the new bulb in place.
Step # 3: Never reach or stretch to reach a hanging light or wall sconce. Be sure that you can comfortably reach the light needing a replacement bulb for safety. To do this, place a proper height step stool directly underneath the light being fixed. This will help to elevate you to the proper position. Take care that your step stool legs are locked into place and that it is firm and level on the floor. Never lean a step stool or step ladder against a wall or furniture. This will make it unstable to stand on.
Step # 4: Once you have climbed up on your step stool, reach into the light cavity and unscrew the old bulb.
Step # 5: Next, screw in your new bulb. Again, make sure it is the same size and shape as the old one.
Step # 6: Once the new bulb is in place, turn the light switch on to make sure that your light is working properly.
Step # 7: Finally, make sure to fold up your step stool and put it back where you found it so you can easily put your hands on it the next time you need to get to something that is out of reach.
As you can see, changing a burnt out light bulb can be a quick and easy job if you know what you are doing and have the right equipment handy.
