What should I put behind my secret bookcase?

I would just like some advice on how to fix up the inside. I just purchased a small safe that i will keep some documents in. I’m stuck however on how I will store my other valuables. I do have a small firearm I would like to keep inside, and then some jewelry. I would appreciate your advice. Kepp in mind I don’t want to spend a fortune on this!

Secret man cave closet eh? Saw the video.. safe= cool, firearm= right on, jewelry… that better be some Mr. T like stuff.. anyway I would suggest shelves built in above and accommodating the dimensions of your safe. You know, for porn and such. Maybe leave one side open from bottom to top for rifles and other tall things you might want to put in later like a girl that’s not supposed to be there during a surprise inspection of some type.. (do you have a wife a wife?). hooks on the back of the bookshelf screwed in at the nipples of a previously hung up centerfold model will be good for leashes and whips to keep on hand but out of sight in case of strippers or orgies (you did say man cave). Do not underestimate the ability to hide munchies and beer there if you share the house.

Keeping Jewelry Safe When You Travel
If you are going to take valuable jewelry with you on a trip, one of the first things to do is to make sure it is insured. No matter what steps you take to protect your valuables, there is always the possibility that your jewelry could be lost or stolen somewhere along the way. Once you have insured your pieces, then you can take the important steps to keep jewelry safe in the hopes that you never have to make a claim with your insurance company.
•Never place your jewelry into luggage when you are taking any type of public transportation whether on the airlines, cruise lines, or any other service that will require you to be separated from your luggage. Sometimes, people forget their bags in a taxi and you may never see your bag again so you should also keep jewelry with you even on these short trips to and from hotels, airports, etc.
•While you aren’t wearing your jewelry, store it in the safe deposit box of the hotel where you are staying. Never put valuables into the safe that is located in your hotel room. If you are staying at a hotel that doesn’t have a safe, then you will need to either keep jewelry with you at all times. Never leave jewelry in your hotel room even if you think it is well hidden.
•Never assume that wearing false jewelry will make you safe. Most people won’t have a clue if the jewelry is the real thing or not and it may still make you a target of jewelry theft.
•Never wear valuable rings while swimming or in the sauna. Water may cause your fingers to temporarily shrink and the ring can fall off without your being aware of it.
•Invest in a jewelry travel case that rolls up. This will keep jewelry from falling out and getting lost in transit. Cases are available in different styles so that you can choose one for the amount and type of jewelry you normally take with you when you travel.
•Consider your destination. If you are traveling to an area where there is a lot of crime, don’t call attention to yourself by wearing expensive jewelry. While you may want to take your good jewelry with you to wear for a special event, wearing a diamond necklace in an area with a large criminal element is like wearing a neon sign that says “rob me”.
One of the most important things you can do to protect your jewelry when you travel is to take only what is essential. The more you take with you, the more at risk you are for having a loss. Take only what you normally wear every day and keep what you leave at home secure in a safe as well.
Carry your jewelry with you onto the plane in a handbag with a secure fastener and keep with you. Also, take care about where you wear your jewelry when you are out in unfamiliar areas.
