Finishing my basement, and want to add some secret/hidden rooms/passageways? ?
How could I go about doing this? (p.s. just 1 secret room and a safe in the wall)
Are there certain companies that do this? Have you ever done this or seen a secret room?
You could design and do the job yourself just make sure you file and get the right permits from the city or when you go to sell your home you could be paying more in fines to get them signed off. But if you can’t do it you should look into a licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor to help you with building of the secret room. The safe in the wall is very easy and you can do this yourself after the room is built. If you want to save money sometimes a contractor will discount the price if you plan on supplying some of the labor involved to build it. Good luck
