Is it safe to put a real christmas tree near a floor airconditioning vent?
This is my first christmas in our new home and Ive never had floor vents before, Is it safe to put a real christmas tree near or over the vent?

Any kind of heat source will dry your tree faster. I always recommend to my customers that they keep their tree away from all heat sources: heat vents, ovens, fireplaces, televisions, high-wattage light bulbs, etc.
Be aware that your Christmas tree is not a fire hazard, but do check the lights that you put on – make sure they’re modern lights with fuse protection.
