My guppies are dying!?!?
I have a 10 gallon tank. I have guppies in my tank. There is also a violet goby and there were recently a beta and plecastomous (sucker fish) but my mom took them home last weekend. 2 days before my mom took the others home, I bought new decorative stones and a hiding place for my tank so the guppies could have a safe place to birth their babies. 3 days after that, my guppy’s started dying. I tested the pH and it was 7.6. I added the appropriate chemicals to balance the pH level. Then also added a disease fighter (generic for tropical fish). We also added chlorine remover and a little more water (just because the level was low)
My guppies are still dying!!! HELP!!!!!
I forgot to add that my tank has a thermometer and is kept in the safety zone for tropical fish as well as the appropriate amount of aquarium salt that is necessary for fresh water fish
you probably have new tank syndrome……u need more live bacteria in your tank. they sell it at the pet store.
