How to restore Dell Inspiron 1750 without recovery disk?
I am working on my friend’s Dell Inspiron 1750. It needs to have the factory settings restored, but we do not have the recovery disk or a Windows installation disk. It has Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I am able to log in in safe mode only. Is there any way to restore the factory settings without the recovery disk? If not, we can order a recovery disk.
Your Dell has a recovery partition on the Hard drive so as long as the drive has not been replaced then should still be there.

You will find for your laptop and Win 7 it will be pressing F8 during the Dell logo display at early load time
