Is it safe to drive to taho this weekend with a Honda Civic Hybrid?
Hi everyone,
My family and I are driving up to Tahoe from San Francisco for new year’s day weekend (This is the first time we are going to Lake Tahoe) We want to rent an SUV, but the prices are really up there. So we are thinking of just driving the Civic. The problem is that it is a FWD hybrid, and I’m worried about having to put chains and all and if its safe to drive. Has anyone gone up there with a similar vehicle? Please give me some tips.
PS the cost of renting an SUV online for this weekend is at 500 to 600 bucks..
