Iihs Safest 2010
Which car should I get? 2010 Toyota Camry XLE V6 w/navi or 2010 Honda Accord EX-L V6 w/navi?
The Price is almost exactly the same.
The camry’s specs look just a bit better and is just a bit safer according to IIHS crash test ratings.
do those people who answered your question don’t have anything else to do beside bash Toyota constantly….and now Honda?
well, what you say is true and now a days you can get a good price on a Toyota because of their reputation hit hard.
This is a matter of practicality, if you like a car that is well balanced, handles good, then Honda will easily win. Honda’s V6 engine does have one camshaft (SOHC) (i.e. less parts) meaning that it could be reliable and fuel efficient at the same time.
If you prefer comfort, reliability, average drive quality, and fuel efficiency then Toyota will win.
Honda can sometimes be overpriced but they actually are good cars, Toyota can come down a bit. Now to Car insurance, Honda Accord will be the cheapest to insure.
Brakes: I find that Honda’s brakes are more responsive than a Toyota (FOR TOYOTA BOTS: This has nothing to do with recall). In Camry you slightly have to push hard in order for them to work hard while in Honda, you push and it stops.
Drive wise: I felt that Camry was easier to maneuver WHY? because Honda seems too big, it doesn’t have to be and Camry only feels big from the back, Honda is big all around.
Drive them both and see which suits you better!

Central NJ Lexus drivers confident in their 2010 Lexus RX IIHS Top Safety Pick-
What do you look for when you go out and buy a vehicle? Sure, you look for style. You look for high performance. You look for utility. If you have a family, you look for many of these things, but you always put your money on safety. As a family man myself, whenever I head inside my Central NJ Lexus dealer, I always ask the salesman to point me towards the safest vehicle on the showroom floor. Lexus is known for a lot of things, among them its reputation as one of the most innovative and dependable luxury vehicles on the market. But, what a lot of people don’t realize is that the Toyota sister brand is also one of the safest brands on the market, as any Marlboro NJ Lexus enthusiast will tell you.
Well, it gets even better. In fact, one of my favorite Lexus vehicles was just recently awarded the IIHS Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The recognition of such a prestigious organization serves as a staunch validation that every time I walk inside a Central NJ Lexus dealer, I’m walking inside a dealer with one of the safest cars on the market. It’s really a weight off my mind when I cruise around in my RX and know that my family will be as safe as they can possibly be in the instance of an accident. Because, as many of us know well, accidents do happen. Thank God for Marlboro NJ Lexus dealers who put a lot of stock in keeping the occupants of their vehicles as safe as they possibly can.
In terms of the designation itself, the IIHS only awards the Top Safety Pick to cars that perform at the top of the spectrum in terms of front, side, rollover and rear crash protection. Central NJ Lexus drivers benefit from some of the highest industry ratings in each of these categories, a fact that has benefited the Lexus brand within the turbulent waters of the recession. The RX is also equipped with electronic stability control as an added safety measure – a crucial factor in evaluating the safety of the industry’s most well equipped cars. For Marlboro NJ Lexus dealers, there is no feature more crucial than the safety of its vehicles, and the RX is one of the highest delivering cars on the market in those terms.
As we enter a new phase in the auto industry, look to Lexus to continue as one of the leaders in the market. Besides safety, Lexus pays spectacular attention to the general dependability and performance of its cars. For years, I’ve been almost fanatical about Lexus autos to the point where I’ve only owned Lexus cars for the last ten or so years. When the safety of your family hangs in the balance, there really is no other car like a Lexus. Keep your eyes peeled for huge pushes forward in engine technology from the innovative automaker, and head down to your Lexus dealer today for more info.
