Hello…I saw your item posted on craigslist,
i hope it’s in good condition?I am willing to pay the said amount for the item.
I want to bring to your attention that i will not be able to pick up the item
just because of my work schedules as i am presently out of the state representing my company
(SUN Magazine) on an official trip..I am buying this item into my New Store where i sell both brand and like new items.
I will add $100 for the shipping and insurance fee and payment via PayPal for a safe and secure transaction.
So kindly get back to me with your PayPal email address so that i can proceed with the payment ASAP..
Thanks and Stay Blessed..
Johnson Cole
This letter lacks the specifics and uses odd phrases like kindly get back to me, official trip, My New Store. where i sell both brand and like new items. Also the fact that this person is out of town is a sure sign that it is a scam.
I suspect this is a scam.
Just for kicks, I did a yahoo search on the wording of your letter and verified that is a scam. One of the links is in the source section.
Did the person leave their name? You could verify if the person does indeed work for Sun Magazine and talk to them directly.
My advice is do not give this person any information. If you do give them your paypal e-mail address, absolutely draw the line when they ask for your password to complete transaction, due to his/her bank’s regulations or some stupid thing like that.
