Trading 2005 Mazda3 for a 1978 Corvette- is it safe for kids?
I am in LOVE with a 1978 corvette and I HONESTLY want to trade my 2005 Mazda3 in for it! It’s just beautiful- I realize it’s not going to be a good winter car- but I work in town anyway- ALSO- I have a daughter who will be 6 pretty soon- It looks to me like the 78 Corvettes kind of have a bucket type back seat- Would it be decent for riding my daughter around…. The other alternative is keep my Mazda3 and add on ANOTHER car payment which makes me pretty much strapped. I just want to know if it’s possible to have a 78′ corvette and still take a 6 year old around in the car????
THANK YOU SO MUCH- This is for real my dream car- I’ve always wanted one and this one is BEAUTIFUL!!! I let a 78 corvette slip out from under me about 10 years ago- (before I had a kid) and I’ve thought about it so many times over the years….

There is no rear seat in a 78 corvette, or any other year for that matter. They are and have always been two seat cars.
You can put a six year old in the passenger seat with a booster seat, there are no airbags in that car so you’re good there.
That said – are you seriously considering using a 33 year old car as a daily driver? If you think it will be as reliable as your Mazda you are mistaken, it won’t be. It also won’t be very comfortable and will definitely not be a good winter car. You could put snow tires on it and that might help, but driving an old Corvette in the snow is not a good idea.
I suggest keeping it a dream until you reach the point in your life where you can afford this car as a weekend car, keep it in the garage and only drive it when the weather is nice.

The world is changing rapidly, for the good and for the bad. I am sure most of us are aware of the increase in obesity in our societies and rightfully so we are all concerned. The heath professionals are concerned about the impact of obesity on the health of obese individuals and the politicians are concerned about the money spent on combating this epidemic. Nevertheless we are concerned. I am however more than concerned about the increase in obesity in our children, the question that comes to mind is who is to blame; the parents, the kids, the government? Many parents blame the government for not protecting their kids against advertisement for fast food, but then I wonder who ends up buying this food, the government, no- it’s the parents. We need to exercise more authority as parents, get your children to eat healthy- be a role model eat healthy as well, get them to exercise there are very interesting children fitness equipment available. And most importantly remember its best to start them early.
I know just a place where one can find all the latest equipments that can help our kids in exercising. This place is known as chills play fitness and it is an online portal where you can buy fitness equipments for your kids.
