Ever since my son had a bad accident on our playground, to be specific on his wooden cottage play house, I started to have fears on anything that could possibly injure my kid especially if he is playing in the park, in play houses, the slide or anything that could potentially hurt him. He had an ugly gash on the forehead right above his eyebrow, and it took about three stitches, imagine that. A month after the wound healed, my son asked me if he could have his daddy make him another playhouse, I immediately said no, remembering what had happened before. He agreed but he was constantly begging every single day. I agreed, on one condition that we will make a safe play house for him. I was thinking of creating a wooden playhouse still, but we would cover with foam.
I started searching online for a similar draft, or a picture that we could probably copy. It really lived up to its name, everything inside is just soft, it had padded shutters, doors and roof. With the soft tent, I’m confident my child will be safe.
