People who give up liberty for safety?
I think its ridiculous how everyone is willing to go on with this TSA nonsense. How is randomly patting down people or body scanning them gonna make us safe? ITS RANDOM! meaning someone will slip through. Unless the metal detector goes off you have a high chance of skipping both of those.
I think the best way is to arm the public instead of disarming them.
With only weapons such as:
-Pepper spray
-Tazers
-Rubber bullet guns
-Cameras
If you say everyone will go nuts and start hurting each other than please write the details in your answer so that i can asses your point of view (i am open minded willing to see your side)
If that doesn’t work then how about profiling people?

If you don’t think “profiling” means giving up liberty then you probably aren’t one of the groups being profiled.
The only two real improvements in airport security in the last 10 years have been the reinforced cockpit doors and the willingness of the flying public to fight back against the hijackers themselves. Everything else is bluster and security theater.
