I believe I’ve been bit by a Lone Star tick.?
I Live in Muncie, Indiana (Delaware County), and I found a tick on the back of my head earlier today. The only semblance I’ve found is the white spot, though I cannot recall seeing any legs on it.
Should I go to a doctor, just to be safe, or should I wait and see if anything unusual happens?
Keep checking your body for a “bullzeye” shaped rash that may/could appear in the next 48-72 hours. If nothing shows up your probably fine. If a rash appears…go see your physician and ask him/her to run tests to rule out lyme disease.
