I have a safe that was given to me. It will be very difficult to move. Is there a dealer that will come to me?
The safe is 5′ tall, 3′wide, 2 1/2′ deep. On the front of the safe it says “Mooney, Taylor, & Smith”. The inside says Mosler Safe & Lock Company. It ways approximately 2 tons.
I don’t know what the dealer will be able to do for you, other than recommend a moving company that can handle such a beast. You could try talking to companies that move pianos, and see if they’re set up for such a thing…
However, I’m guessing safes like that aren’t “moved” – they have the building built around them.
