what are some good small towns?
what are some good small, safe towns to raise kids in north carolina. generally in the middle of NC like in between the mountains and the ocean. nothing with a lot of developments
Here are some really nice ones:
1. Boone – probably the best. Home of Appalachia State University. Great small town with college atmosphere.
2. Lewisville – where I live. About 10 miles west of Winston-Salem. Excellent small town
3. Wilkesboro
4. Asheboro
5. Hickory
