Word 2003 keep on opening in safe mode even after uninstalling?
I uninstalled the entire suite and re-installed it and I still get the same message “word failed to start properly and it will start in safe mode do you wish to continue” when I say yes it starts in safe mode but it doesn’t fix the problem. HELP!
If Word will start in safe mode, but not in normal mode, then the usual cause is a corrupt Normal.dot global template. Two other possible causes are a corrupt or inaccessible printer driver, or an incompatible third-party add-in for Word.
Close Word and Outlook, and rename the Normal.dot template in your User Templates folder to Normal.old or Normal.bad or something else. In Word, you can click on Tools | Options | File Locations to see where your User Templates folder is. In Windows XP, the default User Templates folder is C:Documents and SettingsusernameApplication DataMicrosoftTemplates. In Windows Vista, the default User Templates folder is C:UsersusernameAppData RoamingMicrosoftTemplates. You will need to enable display of hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer or My Computer to see this folder.

Utilize A Locking Safe
There are numerous items that we store in our homes that we trust nothing will ever happen to. Certain of us own treasured jewelry that was presented to us for our birthday or maybe passed through families. Others keep guns that we must keep away from children. Or perhaps we have essential written documents or also money that has to be kept safe and never stolen or misplaced.
There are easy things we have the power to utilize to hold these important items or we buy a locking safe. These are great metal boxes that have been designed to handle different items. There are many contrasting kinds that are specifically utilized for documents or other items. Betting on the kind you pick out will determine what characteristics you will have.
Certain ones are made to resist a certain quantity of temperature to keep them from becoming hot and possibly ruined due to it. The majority of them are constructed to be fire proof. This means that you can salvage at least one thing if your house if it should burn down.
They have a particular locking system that makes it rather tricky for the inexpert thief to break into it. They will have the power to try – but unless they are good at opening safes it will be quite challenging for them. Some might believe that the thief can just take the entire safe with them and seek to open it at their headquarters.
Yet, this is nearly impossible to do. The majority of locking safes are big and made with materials that make it exceedingly heavy. Or you will have the ability to build it inside the walls. Put money into one of these and keep your items safe.
