The United States of Socialism?
Has anyone noticed how our country was founded upon freedoms – personal freedoms to freedoms from taxes to religious freedoms, but is becoming increasingly socialist?
People trying to ban guns, the patriot act, now we need a government license to just about everything, the average person works from january to june soley for the government, etc.
The government keeps getting bigger, and we keep having more restrictions, and people like it because it’s “safe”.
Ben Franklin said “those who would give up freedom for security deserve neither, and will eventually lose both.”
Now Republicans want to tell you what you can and can’t do based on their moral stance, Democrats want to tell you how to spend your money. Why is everybody about restricting freedom?
We talk about being free, but make everything more restrictive every year. That is hypocrisy at it’s finest..
Why do we keep voting away all our freedoms?
What happened to our wonderful, free country??
I am scared shitless for the next generation, they will live in a society that is not free. The funny thing is they wont even care. These are the kids that use peer mediation in school to solve social problems.
Personally learning to deal with bully’s and other problems etc.. in school prepared me to for life in the real world.
We need to instill in our children a controlled aggression, a solid work ethic, and a will to succeed.
