Is it safe to buy a factory reconditioned digital camera?
I would save around $80 , and it is Class A factory reconditioned with 3 months warranty
I have a Canon XT (1-1/2 yr old) refurb and it works just fine.
Some say that it comes out even better since the techs go over it completely before sending it back.
The camera could’ve been returned for any reason from someone opening the box and changing their mind to slightly using it and the decided to upgrade or change.
To Add: What I wouldn’t but is a floor/demo model. That is just the model that’s been sitting there being handled day in and day out and who knows know may shots have been taked (there’s a shutter life).
