Safe to cash out check in Wal-Mart?
I know that you can cash a check at wal-mart but is it safe enough to trust workers with my ID, Social Security card and check?
As a former Wal-Mart associate, most really don’t care. When cashing a paycheck, your social security number is entered in on the debit card reader, and then in a typical day, all IDs start to look the same after a while. So yes, it’s certainly safe.
However, rather than cash a check at Wal-Mart, why don’t you get a bank account, and get direct deposit? Seems a whole lot simpler than going to Wal-Mart…
