Online communities, a safe place for women
When you hear the phrase ‘women online dating’ you can sometimes think of all of the negatives. Women being duped into giving away their bank information, married men using online dating to cheat on their spouses, women going on dates and coming back abused or raped. But the truth can be far different to the horror stories.
Women are often mocked for being gossips, but the truth is women do need a safe place to unwind and talk about their feelings. A safe place or a neutral zone can be with friends or family, but if the women don’t feel that they can truly be themselves around these people, they will look elsewhere.
