Where could I “safe-lock”, store up my keys, backpack when leaving the hotel and going to La Jolla beach?
Are there some safe-locks or storage rooms/boxes on the beach? I just want to have a towel, a couple of coins in my pocket and a key or something like id or what they give me from the safe-lock.

It’s like with any compact storage units in a public place since 9/11, they have been eradicated. There are no more lockers in airports or bus terminals. Even high school lockers were taken away from the students.
You’ll just have to trust that no one steals your stuff from the beach while you are in the water. Get a pair of swim trunks with a zippered pocket to carry your keys and a few dollars in. Another option is to find a mature person on the beach and ask them to keep an eye on your belongings. Good luck.
