Clean and Safe town in Nassau County Long Island?
I’m moving to Nassau County, Long Island for a job, and I’m looking to rent a single person apartment. What would be the safest, nicest looking area to live in?

You have no kids, so living in a town like Freeport actually might be best for you. The Southern part of freeport has a vibrant waterfront with tons of bars and restaurants, and there are apartments for very affordable prices, and ethnically its very mixed, with even amounts of whites, blacks and latinos. In fact, Newsday rated it as one of the most affordable places to live for young couples, and it would be worth a look. Some parts are rough tho, mainly the area near roosevelt.
