Is ir safe to travel the world all alone ?

I am planning to travel the world, and have fun and adventure. Is it safe to go all alone especially to Carribean,South America and S. Africa ? What precautions can I take. Are the laws good for tourists, I dont want to end up being in a jail, and noone to rescue me.

I travel all over the world, my suggestion is don’t stay out to late and stay in a good hotel– i am not to sure in S. Africa because it is a poor country and when they see a foreigner they might just jump ….. so PLEASE by careful but in Carribean when i went they were nice people but make sure you do not pay too much for an item. Have a great time!! also you are talking about jail, as long as you don’t carry what you are not supposed to in the airport it should be all fine!

Guide to Safe Travels During A Pregnancy

A woman gave birth on November 29 to a baby boy aboard a flight to Orlando from NY which is why one travel agency released tips for holiday travels concerning expectant moms..

Most residents of the area are now of two minds about pushing through with their current trip plans or doing something else given that the holidays are almost here. Pregnant women in the pink of health can usually go on trips safely but they are strongly encouraged to consult their healthcare provider about it. Take these precautions when going on a trip.  Pregnant women into their fourth to sixth month of the second trimester can make vacation plans without worry of the trip being too uncomfortable.

These are the months when energy is up and morning sickness episodes have abated. The odds of contracting pregnancy woes are also lessened during these months. Pregnant women who wish to avoid miscarrying or prefer to give birth with their healthcare provider around may want to call off a planned trip during the first or third trimester.  Someone who has miscarried in the past or delivered prematurely or is currently having twins better shelve all travel plans until she gives birth. Pregnant women also risk developing vaginal bleeding and blood pressure that is through the roof.

Unexpected problems can appear while on extended leave so it is best for a pregnant woman to be armed with referrals to medical pros in the area from her healthcare provider.

Traveling by plane is fairly safe for most expectant moms and their unborn children. Still such women need to complete everything to do with traveling before they hit their final month of pregnancy. Avoiding in flight births is accomplished by domestic airlines through the imposition of a 36 gestation week rule for pregnant women while international planes have the cut off at week 35.  A commercial plane that cruises at high elevations typically maintains cabin pressure equal to 5000 or 8000 feet at above sea level. The moderate reduction in blood oxygen experienced because of the air pressure decrease is usually tolerable for most pregnant women who are physically fit. Weakened coordination along with brief bouts of sleepiness are among the temporary symptoms that a mildly anemic pregnant mother may experience.

Occasionally a non anemic expectant mom can likewise exhibit slight changes in their heart rate and breathing trends. Severely anemic pregnant women might be put in danger by a decreased cabin pressure. If traveling is unavoidable such women will need additional oxygen handy.  A pregnant woman can take several precautions to help make her as comfortable as possible during air travel. Blood clots along with swelling of the lower extremities can be avoided by changing sitting positions often. It is easier to walk about for 15 minutes every hour in the cabin if seated beside the aisle so do request for those seats.  Steer clear of food that irritate the stomach and intestines prior to the flight. Expansion of intestinal gas in-flight can be particularly uncomfortable during pregnancy. Mommies to be can combat the decreased aircraft humidity and prevent dehydration by keeping their bodies stocked with fruit juices and water. Someone who is pregnant and about to travel abroad needs to ask her physician about any vaccinations that she needs to receive and how safe they are.

Some pregnant women may favor a leisurely car ride over a stressful airline flight. There is however the swollen ankles and feet along with backaches to worry about if driving for long stretches of time. Pull over and walk around for a bit every 60 or so minutes to prevent such problems from happening. A pregnant woman is especially vulnerable which is why she should stay strapped in while in a car.  The leading cause of mortality among pregnant women is the car accident with only a few stemming from a pregnancy complication. The unborn child and her expectant mom will be a lot safer if the lap belt is fastened lower than the hips of the mom and the shoulder harness high above her uterus. Pay attention to the pointers mentioned here along with other tips healthcare providers may volunteer to enjoy a great holiday vacation while pregnant.
