How do you disable a seat belt alarm in a 2010 lancer gts?
I need to disable the little chiming alarm that goes off whenever the driver seatbelt isnt in. Please no lectures on how I shouldn’t do that and I should always wear my seatbelt and its safer and blah blah blah. I’m not dumb and I know what the laws are and whats safe. I DO wear my seatbelt but there are times when I’m just sitting in my car and the stupid thing beeps constantly or alot of times I’m just driving a block down the road and it beeps. Just a know how answer please. I don’t want to just stick something in the seat belt slot to shut it up..I was thinking disabling the fuse for it maybe? It’s a 2010 Lancer GTS.

the chime is probably plugged into your car’s fuse box. Just find which little black cube that’s making the noise and pull it out.
