Safest Cars 2007 Mercedes Benz
What Mercedes-Benz would you suggest?
My mom wants me to get a Mercedes-Benz because of it’s outstanding safety. My dad is rich,and my budget for this car is $50,000. Currently I drive my dads Ford Mustang Shelby GT500,Ford F-350 diesel and sometimes Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid. I wanted to look for other cars too but my dad is agreeing with her so it has to be a Benz. Which is fine, I love my dads S400 Hybrid. Very comfortable seats, lots of electronics and a nice ride overall.

I love CL class, CLS class, GLK clas,E-class coupe, E-class cabriolet, SLK class, SLS AMG. My parents want this car to have Pre-safe system and drivers assistance package. My dad said I can probably find a 2007-2008 CL class with these features. He said they go down in value pretty fast. Is this true? Which one would you suggest for me?

I’d strongly recommend the E-Class, coupe, convertible or even sedan. The E-Class has an extremely wide range of drive assistance systems to assist in the event (or leading up to, or preventing) an accident. Base E coupe (E350 variant) starts at under $50,000
The 2007-2008 CL-Class has some of these features, but not the most up-to-date, eg. fatigue sensing systems. However, if you like the comfort and ride of your dad’s S-Class, the CL can probably match (if not improve on) those attributes.
CLS-Class is about to be updated with a new model, which brand new will be over $70,000 anyway. The CLS doesn’t have as many safety systems as the CL or E. GLK-Class is overall not a very good car. If you want a small SUV, the BMW X3 would be a better choice. The SLK-Class is in the same boat as the CLS – it’s about to be replaced. Also, the SLK is a small convertible so it won’t be as safe as the other, larger Mercedes. The SLS AMG is the most expensive car on sale and is well above your price range. It’s essentially a supercar.
