What are the safest neighborhoods in Chicago?
Im looking to rent a house in Chicago, i found a few i like but i just want to know What neighborhoods are safe. i heard that thees were safe, Lincon Park, Hyde Park, Lakeview. If you live in Chicago tell me if it is safe in your neighborhood and tell me if u know any other safe neighborhoods.
I’ve been born and raised in Chicago so i’ve definitely seen my fair share of neighborhoods that are safe and that are a little on the sketchy side. but so far, what you’ve heard is right. All neighborhoods that are in the northern area of Chicago are relatively safe. Neighborhoods I recommend and have grown up in are Wrigleyville, Lincoln Park, Rogers Park and Hyde Park. They’re relatively affordable, although Wrigleyville is a little pricey..but consist of families with a few kids. Good place to settle down and not too far from Chicago downtown so if you want to go hit up a few places you won’t have to travel like 800 miles haha.
Hope this helps and you enjoy living in the Windy City:)
