Frame Damage on SUV/Tampering with Odometer?
I am looking at buying a 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport SUV for my wife and our new child. According to the CarFax report, the vehicle was involved in a collision with an animal and the front of the vehicle was primarily damaged. According to the dealer, the frame was reported damaged. The radiator was fixed, amongst other things. Still makes me sort of nervous. Is an SUV that sustained frame damage safe for my wife and child?
Also, is there a way to tell if the mileage odometer has been tampered with?
